I know plenty of people are visiting this blog… so, come on, people. Nobody wants to share what they’re reading this summer? This has to be the simplest summer reading program EVER.
Share your summer reading either here or in the original post, and you could win a copy of Summer Reading Is Killing Me!by Jon Scieszka. It’s that simple.

As usual I will attack another section of the Agatha Christie shelf at the local library. Eventually I’ll read them all…
Some are not that memoriable so I’ve read parts of them twices.
I’ll read some Dilbert and Get Fuzzy Books.
Also a number of professional books “How to work with difficult parents” “differentiating instruction through menus”
The new science textbooks “herdity, galaxies, sound, light and chemical reactions”
Also a sampling of children’s books found on the shelves of various friends’ houses. “Llama, llama” and “Curious George” are likely choices.

I’m slowly working my way through Pallid Light: The Waking Dead by William Jones. I’m pushing myself to finish it so I can read The Dead by Charlie Higson, a prequel to The Enemy which I quite liked and have been eagerly anticipating the followup.
I do most of my reading on audio, however; I just finished In the Woods by Tana French (v.good), am halfway through Spook by Mary Roach (not as good as Bonk, which is not nearly as good as Stiff), looking forward to listening to IT by Stephen King (read by Stephen Weber).

I’m a part of a mom’s book club and we just finished reading The Help. This book was a wonderful book to read, a very quick read and one that you didn’t want to put down. The characters were great. They are making it into a movie later this summer.

Liz, we just published a review of The Dead on the main site, and if you haven’t visited in the past few days, there’s a guest post by Charlie Higson up now as well, as part of his blog tour.
Our reviewer LOVED The Dead. So I think you’ve got a good read to look forward to!
