TV Review: The Gifted S1 E11 3×1

Feeling like they are a risk to the MU after the events at Trask Industries, the Strucker parents decide to leave the commune. Between the kid’s power, Dreamer’s death, and Dr. Campbell targeting them, they feel the MU would be able to operate better without having to protect them. Andy disagrees. He wants to make Dreamer’s death count for something.

Meanwhile, we get to lean that secretive world dominating organizations *coughcoughTheHellfireClubcough* are going to do what they want, no matter what laws silly human governments are making. Is anyone surprised that the Cuckoos are working with/for the Hellfire Club? No, but I am excited to see a group of differently powered people who aren’t restrained by the MU’s attempts at morality.

We now know why Dr. Campbell wanted the Strucker kids. But why does the Hellfire Club want them? (Canon says their ancestors were club member.) And should we feel sorry for the Struckers for falling right into the Club’s hands, or for the Cuckoos, who barely had to break a sweat to set them up?
