Secret Origins Part 1
When Superman shows up as Batman’s staking out a space research facility things go sour. Not that Superman is incapable, but the alien infection/invasion happening is outside of both men’s prior experiences. Something at the site gives Superman strange visions that haunt him as he goes about his normal superhero life (saving the planet by disarming warheads. What a hero!)
When Batman goes down on another investigation it’s Superman who again goes to action, saving him from being crushed. Unfortunately at the same time a giant asteroid lands and gives birth to a weird alien being that starts destroying the city. After a few initial punches Superman, inexplicably, flies away, leaving the beings to have free reign.
When Batman follows he discovers Supermen invading a military compound, claiming what’s inside is the only thing that can save the world from the invaders.
