Submitting Reviews or Books for Review



Submitting books for review:


If you are an author or publisher and have a book you would like us to review, we are more than happy to consider it.


However, please understand that we are an all-volunteer organization. Unless we specifically commit to posting a review, interview, or guest post by a certain date, we cannot guarantee a timely response, although we will do our best.


We are under no obligation to review unsolicited titles. If you are interested in sending us a title, please send us a request via email with your name, the name of the book, the name of the author or editor, a short description, and the format.


We accept both print and .pdf copies of books. Please be advised that it may take longer to find a reviewer for a .pdf as not all of our reviewers can or will accept them.


Any books submitted become property of the reviewer.


Authors, please take note: When you submit a book to us for review, we do not guarantee that your book will receive a positive review. publishes honest, critical reviews to help librarians with collection development and readers advisory as well as readers, and we take that very seriously.


We take copyright very seriously. Excerpts or quotes that violate fair use will not be used without the author's permission, and no portion of the book will be reproduced.

Reviewing books for


    We are always looking for reviewers for horror and paranormal titles for adults, teens, and children.  In submitting book reviews to  you are giving other readers of horror and paranormal fiction a chance to discover a book that they might have overlooked or warning them away from a stinker.  In addition, you are helping librarians and teachers navigate the challenging world of horror genre collection development and reader's advisory.
