The Monster Librarian Presents:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer started off as a movie in 1992 that latter became a popular TV show running from 1997-2003.  The series follows Buffy who starts the series as a teenager in high school who discovers that she is a vampire slayer, endowed with enhanced strength and reflexes she patrols the night hunting and slaying evil vampires, demons, and other supernatural baddies.   Buffy goes through her adventures with her watcher the librarian Giles and her friends Willow and Xander.  Buffy's romantic interests in the show are Angel a 200 year old vampire with a soul as well as a solider named Riley, and another vampire Spike.  Buffy the Vampire Slayers success eventually led to spin-off show for Angel.  While both Buffy and Angel shows have ended, their adventures continue in a popular series of books.  It is this series of books that have attracted a number of readers and the new books continue to come out today.

Well that took a while.

There's the novelizations of the episodes that I've got. There's more that I
know of like "The Harvest" for one. (I've not been able to find that one.)

There's novelizations for AtS too. At least "City of" has a novelization.

The YA novels that are original for Buffy are:

Halloween Rain
Coyote Moon
Night of the Living Rerun
Blooded
Visitors
Unnatural Selection
Power of Persuasion
Deep Water
Here be Monsters
How I Survived My Summer Vacation Vol 1
Crossings
Little Things
Sweet Sixteen
Doomsday Deck
Ghoul Trouble

Stake Your Destiny Series

The Suicide King
Keep Me in Mind
Colony
Night Terrors

Tales of the Slayers: Vol I, II, III, IV (Some good, some not so good)

For the adult novels, I noticed some that were missing (actually some
notably good ones) so here's the others that I know of:

Revenant
The Death of Buffy (I really liked this one. It takes place between seasons
five and six of the show.)
The Lost Slayer (There's an anthology version or you can get it in the four
little books, but I don't know the names of them individually.) Monster Island (Crossover with Angel) Seven Crows (Crossover with Angel---this one features Riley of all people.
It's a season four book.)
Cursed (Crossover with Spike and Angel...very VERY good book) Heat (Crossover with Angel)

Angel Novels

City of... (novelization)
Not Forgotten
Redemption
Close to the Ground
Shakedown
Hollywood Noir
Avatar
Bruja
Haunted
The Summoned
Image
Vengeance
Stranger to the Sun
Endangered Species
The Longest Night Vol 1 (It's an anthology of some sort. I've never seen it,
but I was told to list it.)
Fearless
Impressions
Solitary Man (Wesleycentric)
Sanctuary
Nemesis
Monolith
Dark Mirror
Book of the Dead
Love and Death
