"Spring into Terror"  is a collaborative effort to give readers of horror fiction insight into some of this year's recent releases.

 

 For librarians, “Spring into Terror” is an opportunity to get reviews and information you need to recommend appropriate titles for readers and make informed decisions about collection development.  In addition to providing reviews of horror titles you might be interested in adding to your collection, “Spring into Terror” highlights participating horror fiction review sites that cover both small press and mainstream horror.  

 

                Collaborating review sites include: Horrorworld.org, Horror Fiction Review, Hellnotes.com, Horror-Web, Dread Central, and Dark Scribe Magazine. 

 

For this year's Spring into Terror MonsterLibrarian.com is presenting interviews with three authors Fran Friel, Louise Bohmer, and Nancy A Collins

 

We present a list of some of the horror titles coming out this spring.

 

We are also holding an art contest surrounding the theme of reading horror.

 

Note: The project is set to start April 1st, as participating sites post their reviews we will link to them.

Spring into Terror Art Contest

MonsterLibrarian.com and a number of other horror fiction review sites are conducting our second annual Spring into Terror horror fiction review project. As part of Spring into Terror we are holding an art contest to celebrate reading horror this spring.
Theme: Reading horror (books or graphic novels)

Deadline for submissions: 4/15/09

Prize: A Spring into Terror grab bag of horror and thriller books including at least one limited edition title.

The criteria for entries are:
File format: JPG
File Size: 2 Megs or Less
Medium: Digital, painting, or illustration
Dimensions: Any, but the larger the picture the larger the file
