What the movie is about : In tranquil Lake Victoria the small population explodes every year with spring breakers coming for fun, when a tremor releases prehistoric man eating fish the spring breakers are in the menu.
Note: Piranha is a pseudo remake of Roger Corman's 1978 film Piranha which had a sequel Piranha II The Spawning.
